Skinshape
Talented British musician and producer William Dorey is coming to BIRD with his project Skinshape! Prepare for an evening full of unique sounds and influences from funk, reggae, psychedelic rock and more.
Skinshape is the studio project of British musician and producer William Dorey. The group was born out of a love for old music and its unique sound. Their music has influences from various genres, especially from the funk and reggae of the 60s-70s, library music, psychedelic rock, African music and folk.
Besides his work as Skinshape, William also co-founded the band Palace (2014-2017) and has been running his own reggae label Horus Records since 2014. Last September 27th they released a brand new album “Another side of Skinshape”, an innovative album that, as the title suggests, shows a different side of the group.
The five-piece live band will perform both new and older work. Don't miss it!
