Sia Trio

The ensemble, founded in 2023, consists of South Korean flutist Songyoon Ryoo, Taiwanese clarinetist I-Ching Chen and Spanish bassoonist Pedro Úbeda Grau, with whom they form a unique mix of cultural backgrounds. In this concert they play works by Beethoven, Ibert and Piston that have been specially arranged for this line-up.

The musicians recently completed their master's degree at the classical music department, where they benefited from the mentorship of Pieter Nuytten, principal bassoonist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
