Selma Visscher - Ik Kijk Liever (try-out) ^try-out

Selma Visscher's road to the cabaret stage is one from the book. She was expelled from drama school and less than a month later, without any experience on the (cabaret) stage, she won the jury prize of the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival. In the following years she was in the finals of the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival and Cameretten. As a participant in the last talent competition, she could already be seen in Walhalla in 2022 during the try-out tour of Cameretten.

And now she is ready for her debut performance Ik Kijk Liever. That is promising. Selma has already been called 'an authentic new voice in cabaret land, an overwhelming mega talent, and above all extremely funny'.

Selma remains sober about it. While everyone is trying to sell themselves non-stop, Selma stays close to her core values of 'discomfort' and 'shame' and agreed to our standard Valhalla entrance fee without negotiating. And then she also takes her brother Lars Visscher with her. As a virtuoso on the accordion, he provides the musical accompaniment.

Stand-up and accordion, is that possible?
