This country-punk band from North Carolina anchors the torturous, sometimes dark desires in their lyrics with sparkling guitar leads and hypnotic rhythms. With a punk mentality, a country spirit and a gritty garage sound, they combine these three worlds into a roller coaster of everyday stories about drunken nights, sobering up and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

In late March 2024, the band released their fourth album, Revelations. This is the group's most confident album to date, as it so poignantly captures the full scope of the human experience: anger, sadness, confusion, love and acceptance. It is a document of Shook at the height of her powers and a reflection of her personal journey, not only as a writer, but as a human being. Their music is the embodiment of the drunken villain in an old western, who ultimately turns out to be a well-intentioned hero, resulting in a happy ending for everyone.
