Samen Eigenwijs
A workshop on film and children's philosophy. By watching a short film, children (4-7 years) learn to think and draw like a real philosopher.
Philosophizing is asking questions and looking curiously at the world around you. And those are exactly the things that children excel in! During the workshop 'Samen Eigenwijs' we will philosophize together about who we are, based on the short film Zebra by Julia Ocker. We will investigate together why it is good to be yourself. In what ways are we the same and what makes us different? And why should we celebrate differences?
We will not only work with our heads, but also pour our ideas into a creative drawing assignment. This activity is especially for all curious children between the ages of 4 and 7. Supervisors are welcome to observe. This way, children who still find it too exciting without their parent or caregiver nearby can also participate.
