Robin Borneman defies categorization. His layered music moves effortlessly between folk, rock, singer-songwriter and cinematic soundscapes, but his haunting, soulful voice is the constant thread in all his work. His songs, which often touch on themes of loneliness, explore the journey we all take in life. Borneman does not shy away from the big themes of solitary existence; struggle, sorrow, love and hope are contrasting subjects that he skillfully provides with meaning with his philosophical lyrics.

One thing is for sure: Borneman is not sitting still. With five albums to his name, he is now preparing for the release of his sixth album Flora. This promises to be his most personal work to date, stripped of all frills and reduced to the essence: just Robin, his voice and his guitar.
