Riffsniffer presents: Nightstalker, Daily Thompson.
Greek rock gods Nightstalker are returning to Rotterdam. Founded about 35 years ago, the band has been given many labels since then: grunge, stoner rock, metal. These are all labels the band generally detests. They prefer to be called straightforward rock with a capital R. Whether or not you believe in the Greek gods, live the band plays as if Zeus is driving the riffs with thunder and lightning, Poseidon himself is behind the drums and Hephaestus has single-handedly provided bassist Andreas Lagios with a sledgehammer. Their latest album 'Return From The Point Of No Return' will be released in March and it already promises a lot of good things.
Just like Nightstalker, Daily Thompson doesn't like to be pigeonholed. The band plays a mix of 90s grunge and garage rock, carefully thrown into a blender with the knob turned all the way to fuzz and slowly turned back to desert rock. One thing is for sure: this German trio guarantees a smashing live show that completely sucks the audience in.
