Reci Da! & Arda and the Giannena XL Editie
Two bands with the same vision: an invitation for the audience to dance and celebrate, to be drawn into the music, the sound and the stories behind the songs, no matter where you come from or what language you speak: Arda and the Giannena and Reci Da!
Reci Da! is a cheerful band with their own original songs influenced by Gipsy/Balkan music. The audience experiences their performances as cheerful, moving, energetic... Letting go, being grateful for what is and celebrating life! With their own music, written in Slovak and Dutch, Reci Da! wants to connect different cultures, just like they do themselves.
Influenced by the sounds and musical scales of the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean, Arda and the Giannena combines music from the Middle Eastern, Turkish, Greek, Cretan and Ottoman traditions and mixes it with a touch of jazz in their sound and song structure, as well as rock influences in the music they perform. The aim of their music is to excite the listeners, to draw them into the music, the sound and the stories behind the songs, and to keep them on their toes with an irresistible urge to dance to the rhythms they play.
