Proms: Spring Is in the Air Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

The feeling of spring – tinglingly fresh and full of energy – has never been better captured in music than by Vivaldi. La primavera, the first of his Four Seasons, is the opening of this spring prom. Pachelbel, Handel and Bach join the party with their own baroque top hits, but Vivaldi has the last word: his sun-drenched L'estate concludes with a foretaste of a radiant summer.
