PRIKKELVRIENDELIJK BEZOEK BIJ MUSEUM ROTTERDAM
Stimulus-friendly visit to Museum Rotterdam during Accessibility Week
A museum visit can be quite tiring for some visitors due to various stimuli such as sounds, smells, colors and crowds. Do you have difficulty visiting Museum Rotterdam during regular opening hours because of the many stimuli? Then come to the second edition of an incentive-friendly visit to Museum Rotterdam during Accessibility Week. During this visit there are fewer visitors, videos are turned off, there is a rest area and the experience is not running. This way, visitors of all ages can enjoy the collection of Museum Rotterdam in a peaceful way.
What can visitors expect
• Reception by trained employees
• A rest area to relax before, during and after the visit and to drink a glass of water
• Continuous playback videos are disabled
• During the openings it is possible to walk through the museum independently
• The coffee corner is closed until 11 am
Please note: The Stimulus-Friendly visit is from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. At 10.45 am there is the opportunity to still view our experience. The museum opens to the regular public at 11 am.
The second edition of the incentive-friendly visit is during Accessibility Week, which takes place from October 7 to 12. Accessibility Week is an initiative of Elke(in), a national network of people with a disability or chronic illness.
