Premiere Club Gewalt - Herr Hamsterfleisch

This year, the Rotterdam music and performance collective Club Gewalt has the honor of creating the Christmas production for Walhalla. So brace yourself for the musical Herr Hamsterfleisch Und Die Angry Antz.

Herr Hamsterfleisch is the radical feminist sister of Club Gewalt. A Dutch-German punk band led by Loulou Hameleers with hard and unfiltered rock songs about blood, taking up space, witch burnings and other patriarchal injustice.

Herr Hamsterfleisch und die Angry Antz is a pop-rock musical and Christmas spectacle in one. A musical that, entirely in the Christmas spirit, is about inequality in the world, but in 2024.

And what do those Angry Antz' have to do with that? Easy. Ants can do something that humans cannot: think as a group.
