Popronde Rotterdam 2024

During the Popronde Rotterdam music festival, you can see 91 performances by bands, producers, rappers and all kinds of other up-and-coming musical talents at 41 different locations in the center of Rotterdam – and all for free!

Popronde is the largest traveling festival in the Netherlands, where you can see artists perform in all sorts of unexpected places in the city who might blow the big festivals away next year. Every fall, a selection of around a hundred bands in all musical styles travels to 41 Dutch cities.

In the past, famous names such as Froukje, Rondé, Meau, My Baby, Chef'Special, Kensington, Racoon, De Staat, Go Back To The Zoo and John Coffey started their careers in the Popronde. In 2023, Popronde won the renowned IJzeren Podiumdier for Best Festival in the Netherlands.

Popronde Rotterdam, one of the country's larger editions for years, won the Rotterdam Music Award in the 'Best Festival' category in 2021. The upcoming edition on Saturday 9 November promises to be a huge musical (pub) crawl, with 91 performances at 41 well-known and lesser-known locations.

The festival kicks off on Saturday 9 November at 13:00 and continues all day, until the afterparty from midnight in Club Centraal. There is something for everyone, from pop to rock, from funk to jazz, from hip hop to electronic music. All performances are free. Will you also come and discover the musical heroes of tomorrow?
