The screening of the explosive Kneecap biopic has been postponed. A raw, humorous film full of Irish hip-hop, rebellion and culture warfare.
Due to weather conditions this event has been postponed. Ticket holders have been informed by email.
Kneecap, the Northern Irish rap trio that blew audiences away at festivals like Down the Rabbit Hole and Best Kept Secret, is now also shining on the big screen. In a vibrant biopic full of sex, drugs, music and satire – winner of the Audience Award at Sundance – we see how a music teacher, together with two friends, becomes the voice of a new civil rights movement.
Rapping in their native tongue, they fight not only against the system, but for the future of the Irish language. With their trademark bravado, played by themselves and with Michael Fassbender in the cast, this is not a documentary, but a fiery ode to identity, rebellion and creativity.
Blankets and pillows are available while supplies last. Drinks and snacks are available at the Erasmus Pavilion. In case of bad weather again, postponement will follow.
