A tragicomic performance about struggling with life, in which everyone has their own pace, stories and stumbling blocks – from hasty snails to people with knots in their shoelaces.
Even snails have a hurry is a poetic and physical performance about the awkward existence we all know. About people who struggle without knowing they are standing on a mat - let alone knowing how to fall or get up.
Sometimes things seem to go by themselves, sometimes even tying a shoelace remains a challenge. One talks endlessly without saying anything, while the other cannot find the words for the most important thing.
This performance is about slowness and speed, about failure and unexpected victories. An ode to the clumsy human being in a world where everyone seems to be running – but not everyone knows where to.
