On May 5, you can join a short version of the performance 'Eye for an Eye...' and participate in our Freedom Meal, where we eat Freedom Soup together.
Under the guidance of our host Séna Nyaku, we will reflect on celebrating our freedom during a talk session. Because how important is it that we can come together in freedom, talk about it and learn from each other.
An Eye for an Eye...
During the Freedom Meals, the performers of 'Eye for an Eye..' play various scenes from the performance with a short description. The performance is about struggle and camaraderie. How do you look at each other? What remains of a conflict if we do use our empathy? Dionne Zwennicker-Norton & Freek den Hartogh worked with a group of Rotterdam youth: Ahmed, Elin, Gendrick, Juliette, Kick and Lorna on this performance full of hope, reflection and comfort.
