Oma Eindbaas 6+

How do you miss someone, how do you say goodbye and how do you deal with your sadness and so on? And if you hear a good joke now, are you allowed to laugh? A modern-day Orpheus in the underworld for everyone aged 6 and over.

Every Wednesday afternoon after school, Orpheus (9 years old) goes to his grandmother Izzy. They drink lemonade, eat chips and play games. Grandma Izzy is waiting for Oorfje in her chair in front of the window. Two days ago, grandma took a nap while waiting. And when Orpheus found her, she woke up no more. He has been gaming non-stop ever since. He plays The underworld of Hades and is already in level 9: the palace of Hades.

Grandma Eindbaas is a light and loving performance about loss. How do you miss someone, how do you say goodbye and how do you deal with your sadness and so on? And if you hear a good joke now, are you allowed to laugh?

Students from HKU Game Design got to work on a real game especially for the performance. And you can play this, together or with the whole family. Move into Orpheus and defeat all the obstacles along the way one by one. GRANDMA IZZY: THE PUBLIC IS COMING TO RESCUE YOU!

Please note: the game does not work on your mobile phone.
