F•ART – fine art pop-up Rotterdam in gallery Mishmash, organizes a new daring group exhibition, entitled “OE!”.
Expect expressive sculptures, collages that tell stories and paintings that will amaze you. This exhibition is not for "everyone": it is a fusion of intriguing shapes, stimulating ideas and a hearty heartbeat. But rest assured, there is also room for humour and compassion. On display are:
Lidy Jacobs - known for her versatile and intimate artworks. With a focus on intimacy, sensuality and authenticity, she knows how to push the boundaries of traditional imagery and expose a deep emotional power.
Netty van Osch creates a 'Universal Autobiography'. Through a disruptive combination of cute, humor and grim venom, Netty challenges you to look differently. Her images never stand alone—they tell a story, balancing between conflict and reconciliation.
In his work, Joël Bonk explores his personal, cultural and human identity. In each work, the starting point is his own body (which he calls 'the empty canvas'). By using his own form, scale or appearance, he tries to explore his own points of view.
Artist duo Mishmash shows assemblage art and paintings. These artworks draw inspiration from mythology, religion, symbolism, fairy tales and popular culture. By uniting these figures that originally have nothing to do with each other in a unique way, Mishmash offers a contemporary reflection on the world.
