I say hello and you don't say anything back.

My scooter is broken, now the world is coming to an end.

My ass is too small. A slap in the face.

How big is your problem, thought or concern?

In TRIBUNE (research title) Lieke and Anne van der Vegt investigate how everyday city life can transform into an opera performance. A grandstand stands in the middle of the city. Passers-by are put in the spotlight. That which remains hidden is highlighted: daily thoughts as libretto, footsteps as score. The smallest thoughts and doubts about the biggest issues. Within the O.Lab, Lieke and Anne investigate the anonymity of the city, its alienation and the desire for connection.
