néomí is the pseudonym of folk-pop singer-songwriter Neomi Speelman, who writes authentic and sincere stories, supported by dreamy soundscapes. She strives to create more than just songs; each song is a little poem. The subdued, dreamy folk resonates deep in your soul and heart. Her music tells a coming-of-age story in which a young woman makes a journey through trust, love and ultimately self-healing through reflection.

On May 3, 2024, she released her debut album, Somebody's Daughter, a collection of songs that tell stories about letting go and forgiving a loved one you thought would stay in your life forever. The album is about grief; grieving yourself, the old you you leave behind. In October 2023, néomí opened for Matt Corby on his European tour, adding to a growing list of support gigs that includes SYML, Jonathan Jeremiah, and Novo Amor. In January 2024, she was voted #15 Best Act at ESNS and played SXSW in March and The Great Escape in May. Influences from artists such as Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, and Ben Howard are clear, and her sound has been compared to that of Phoebe Bridgers and Novo Amor.
