Nederlands Kamerkoor & Asko|Schönberg a last memory of Reinbert de Leeuw

For decades, Reinbert de Leeuw was one of the most defining figures in the Dutch music scene. The connections between him and this program are countless. It was not just any program he made with these ensembles: he had a special bond with Sofia Gubaidulina, knew her personally, and conducted the world premiere of Jetzt Immer Schnee himself. How Liszt's work merges with Gubaidulina's music took on an intimate and personal dimension with him on the piano. This concert is completely identical to the program from then - the only one missing is Reinbert de Leeuw.
