Nabil Aoulad Ayad & Rayen Panday

The acting, beatboxing, piano playing comedian Nabil (Aoulad Ayad) was born on June 7, 1984 in Waalwijk. He started as a human beatboxer with the theater company ISH. In 2006 he became Dutch champion as a beatboxer and was shortly thereafter asked to perform for the troops in Afghanistan.

As an actor he played in various series such as 'ONM', 'De Co-assistent' and 'Deadline'. He also appeared for two seasons in the improvisation show 'Alpacas', the successor to 'De Lama's' and was one of the panel members of the program 'Baas Raymann'.

The dream of eventually creating a full-length show as a solo artist continued to haunt him. In 2015, he decided to register himself for the Leiden Cabaret Festival. The jury praised Nabil's ability to translate his vulnerability into good and sharp jokes and saw him as an engaging, promising comedian with a future in the theatre.

Rayen Panday (Zaandam, 1983) participated in an open stage for stand-up comedy in 2008, during his law studies. That same year, he won the Personality Award in the finals of the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival. From 2011 to 2013, he played his first full-length cabaret show Drie keer Rayen. Several shows such as Vrijspraak, Niet Verder Vertellen, both broadcast on NPO 3, and Fenomeen followed. The latter made him known to the general public. Rayen has been part of Comedytrain for years and has had a weekly podcast from Toomler with comedian Stefan Pop since 2020. Rayen is a welcome guest in various TV programs, for example he was seen in; The Roast, Weet ik veel, Ik Hou van Holland and LOL season 1 and 2. The try-outs of Karma, Rayen's seventh show, will start in September 2023. In December 2023, Rayen was one of the comedians at Lubach's Avondshow Stand-ups. Rayen will tour the country with his show Karma until mid-April 2025. In December '24, Rayen will host a Christmas show; All We Want For Christmas, in which he and his comedy and musical friends go in search of what makes Christmas Christmas.
