My Fair Human - Club Lam/Toneelschuur

Our Valhalla season is not complete without a new performance by Club Lam. You have previously seen them with the performances Maankoningin, Vote!, Rubens Girls and Lolita. This season they can also be seen with us with the performance Lesbos.

In collaboration with Toneelschuur Producties, they are also working on the musical My Fair Lady. The story of flower girl Eliza Doolittle. In Club Lam's interpretation My Fair Human, Eliza is discovered by Katherine van Kalf, who wants to turn every woman into a successful brand and sees Eliza as her ultimate project. But Eliza is tired of being a 'real woman'. While Katherine persistently tries to mold Eliza, Eliza only wants one thing: to be human and to be seen as human.

My Fair Human is Club Lam as you know Club Lam... if you've ever seen them: sharp and holding a mirror up to us. After all, aren't we all burdened by social expectations and oppressive gender norms?
