In November, the Marines Museum will be full of stories! Lieutenant Colonel of the Marines (retired) Stefan Mastenbroek will give a lecture on “Leadership from the heart”. As a former commander of the Marines Training Centre, Mastenbroek can talk like no other about the relationship between social safety and toughness. The best leaders he has encountered, he says, were leaders “who did not use their rank to lead, but their personality.” These themes – social safety and toughness, leadership, training – are discussed extensively in his lecture. The lecture is free to attend with a valid entrance ticket to the Marines Museum.
