Muerdo has positioned himself as the figurehead of the new singer-songwriter movement: as a composer, poet and singer, he effortlessly blends his Spanish-language pop with reggae rhythms, Mediterranean melodies and Latin American warmth. In 2025, he will go on a world tour and will stop at Grounds to introduce his new album to us.

What started in 2019 as a short tour through Latin America, grew for Muerdo into a golden opportunity to delve deeper into the rich Latin American music heritage. Due to the pandemic, he could not return to Spain, so he took the opportunity to dedicate himself to self-reflection and composing new music for a long period. The result is an infectious mix of Latin, traditional rhythms and a contemporary urban sound with powerful and profound lyrics.

With over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify and performances at the biggest festivals and iconic concert halls in Latin America and Europe, it is once again clear that his music knows no boundaries. And he comes to prove it in Grounds.
