Mr. K

Mr. K is a surrealist drama in which traveling illusionist Mr. K, played by Crispin Glover (Back to the Future), becomes entangled in a Kafkaesque nightmare. After spending a night in a stately hotel, he wakes up the next morning and discovers that he cannot find the exit. His desperate attempts to escape are continually hampered by the strange and inexplicable events that occur within. He is confronted by an eccentric group of residents, including an intimidating band of musicians, a busy kitchen crew and an elegant old guest, played by Fionnula Flanagan, who increasingly complicate his situation.

Director Tallulah H Schwab creates an inventive and surreal atmosphere reminiscent of the works of Franz Kafka, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Stanley Kubrick. The film plays with the sense of misunderstanding and confusion, as the viewer is drawn into the bizarre world of the hotel. Glover delivers an impressive performance as Mr. K, showing his patience and perseverance amid the absurd and threatening circumstances.
