Moze Naél & Winterdagen

The whisper-soft piano sounds and playful synthesizer textures of neo-classical composer and producer Winterdagen form the perfect backdrop for the introspective and compelling poetry of Moze Naél. Despite their different worlds, the two artists manage to find an unlikely harmony, in which their unique styles merge seamlessly.

On their long-awaited debut album, Zielsrust, the duo explores the search for balance within Rotterdam—a balance between city and nature, past and present, light and dark. Moze Naél’s nostalgic lyrics, which evoke memories of long car rides on vacation and childhood birthday parties in the garden, are framed by the minimalist piano playing of Winterdagen. In contrast, the dark stories about Rotterdam’s nightlife and night fishing in the Europoort are set next to it, with the driving electronics breathing life into the darkness.

In 2022, the duo already gave an early performance of Zielsrust at the Luxor Theater and now the full album is released. Moze & Winterdagen have previously performed in various line-ups at festivals such as Motel Mozaique, Into the Great Wide Open and Grasnapolsky. With the release of Zielsrust, it's time for their own show in Rotown! Zielsrust is performed live with a full band, so expect dreamy, powerful and intense sounds.
