An impressive concert featuring Mozart's Coronation Mass and his masterful, unfinished Requiem in D minor. Performed by top musicians and soloists under the direction of Mark Walter.
Be carried away by the grandeur of Mozart’s Coronation Mass and the moving Requiem in D minor, performed by an exceptional ensemble of soloists, the Holland Symphony Orchestra and organist Bert den Hertog. Originally composed for Easter Sunday in 1779, the Coronation Mass was named after the coronation of Emperor Leopold II and is known for its vitality and compact form. The Requiem in D minor, Mozart’s last and unfinished work, was completed posthumously by his friend and pupil Franz Xaver Süszmayr and is among the most beloved pieces from his oeuvre. A concert full of musical splendor, conducted by Mark Walter—an experience not to be missed!
