MOMO Festival 2025

Motel Mozaïque, the multidisciplinary festival, will take place during the Easter weekend from Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 April 2025 at well-known and surprising locations in Rotterdam.

Three days, all dedicated to new encounters. Some more uncomfortable than others. We take you on a path to self-discovery. We challenge you to get to know yourself, by doing things you normally wouldn't do. Discover the beauty of opposites, the unknown.

Motel Mozaïque 25 years

Motel Mozaïque was founded in 2001, when Rotterdam was the European Capital of Culture. With the many vibrant ideas that emerged then, MOMO Festival still returns annually to Rotterdam, the city that plays an important role in the festival with all its locations. For years, MOMO Festival took place in places such as the legendary Nighttown and in the old LantarenVenster on the Gouvernestraat, but also in a temporary church on the Schouwburgplein and on the roof of the Hofbogen.

Over the past quarter century, MOMO has invited impressive (international) artists. Names such as Angus & Julia Stone, James Blake, Jungle, Kae Tempest, LCD Soundsystem, Mahalia, Mumford & Sons, Tamino & Thundercat. have all contributed to the MOMO Festival history. With a combination of innovative programming and unique locations, Motel Mozaïque remains an indispensable part of the cultural calendar in Rotterdam. The 25th edition promises to be another groundbreaking experience.
