MOMO Festival 2025

Three days of (inter)national artists, groundbreaking collaborations and the return of Art Motel

With the announcement of a new series of names, the program of MOMO Festival 2025 is complete. During the anniversary year of Motel Mozaïque, visitors can count on a surprising three-day event full of (inter)national artists and special collaborations with music, performances and art. The line-up includes Squid, Antony Szmierek, Joep Beving & Maarten Vos, Gurriers, TAAHLIAH and Pongo. Especially for the anniversary, 'Art Motel' will also return, a unique overnight stay among art, this time in the Doelen. MOMO Festival will take place during the Easter weekend from Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 April 2025 at well-known and unexpected locations in Rotterdam.

Motel Mozaïque 25 years

Motel Mozaïque was founded in 2001, when Rotterdam was the European Capital of Culture. With the many vibrant ideas that emerged then, MOMO Festival still returns annually to Rotterdam, the city that plays an important role in the festival with all its locations. For years, MOMO Festival took place in places such as the legendary Nighttown and in the old LantarenVenster on the Gouvernestraat, but also in a temporary church on the Schouwburgplein and on the roof of the Hofbogen.

Over the past quarter century, MOMO has invited impressive (international) artists. Names such as Angus & Julia Stone, James Blake, Jungle, Kae Tempest, LCD Soundsystem, Mahalia, Mumford & Sons, Tamino & Thundercat. have all contributed to the MOMO Festival history. With a combination of innovative programming and unique locations, Motel Mozaïque remains an indispensable part of the cultural calendar in Rotterdam. The 25th edition promises to be another groundbreaking experience.
