Molo Uku

Molo Uku is an interactive storytelling performance in which the Moluccan-Dutch Erno Pickee gives his vision on the Moluccan Dutch history. He grew up in the Netherlands with the heroic story about the VOC at school and the stories of his Moluccan ancestors.

He wrote his story about the arrival of the Dutch on the Moluccas in a graphic novel and created a theatrical storytelling performance with director Barry Emond. Erno is musically supported in his story by a Moluccan rapper and a Moluccan singer.
