Matthäus-Passion in de Laurenskerk

This St. Matthew Passion is different from other performances in the country: freely accessible for young and old, in a monumental church, as part of a church service on Palm Sunday, with moments when you can sing along. This form is not new. The Laurenscantorij has been performing the St. Matthew Passion in this way for years, just as we also perform Bach's cantatas during cantata services. The St. Matthew Passion was written by Bach himself for a church service. This is the only way to really experience the music.
