A lecture evening with the Palestinian poet Marwan Makhoul and translator Klaartje Nijland.

Translator Klaartje Nijland has made an anthology of poems she has translated by the famous Palestinian poet Marwan Makhoul. For the presentation of the collection, Makhoul will come to the Netherlands for three evenings of recitals, accompanied by the oud player Anan Makhoul. The poems will be performed by Marwan Makhoul in Arabic and by Klaartje Nijland in Dutch.
