Marie Koet & Joël Gideon

Marie Koet, named one of the comedy talents of 2024 by de Volkskrant, has been associated with Comedyclub Haug since 2022. She graduated cum laude in philosophy, after which she devoted herself entirely to comedy. She performed at Lowlands in 2023 with a solo show and has already played double programmes with Kim Schuddeboom and Daniël Arends, among others. Dagblad Trouw called her 'a queen of self-mockery'. In addition to the stage, Marie wrote texts for De Speld and the satirical TV programme Plakshot.

Joël Gideon (1996), born and raised in Rotterdam, has been a regular at Comedy Club Haug since 2023. As a stand-up comedian, he is a true storyteller who easily takes you along in his stories from the start. He sees the audience as friends and family. To whom he wants to tell what he has experienced again. In addition, he started at the prestigious Amsterdam theater school & Kleinkunst Academy in 2022, where he is being trained as a professional actor and theater maker. Joël may be quiet in everyday life, but on stage there is no sign of that: he shares the stories about his daily life in an infectious, authentic and hilarious way.
