The music and rich career of Rob de Nijs come to life in the brand new musical Malle Babbe. A project that Rob and his wife Jet have been involved in since 2021, in collaboration with Joop van den Ende. An evening full of recognizability, surprises and all his big hits.

The musical is based on a true and defining moment in Rob's life, in which he floats between dream and reality. Due to Parkinson's disease, he is now unable to do much. To cheer him up, Jet takes him back to his younger years and together they enter the Circus of his Memory. Accompanied by well-known characters such as Jan Klaassen the Trumpeter, Sister Ursula and Malle Babbe, they relive the highs and lows of his rich and controversial career. Winning his first talent show, a performance in Voor De Vuist Weg with Willem Duys, the first hit 'Zachtjes tikt de regen', the great success of 'Banger Hart' and much more.
