Years ago, Koffie & Ambacht introduced free improvisation at a high level in the Oude Kerk Charlois. The tone had been set since then. The crystal clear, somewhat baroque acoustics of the old church proved to be the perfect carrier for the timbre that Koffie & Ambacht managed to give a characteristic place in the history of free sound in Rotterdam South.
