Klerendag - Tweedehands kledingmarkt ^{+ workshops}

In the foyer you will find a vintage clothing market, with gems from the collection of the Clothing Bank. The Clothing Bank is the place where more than 4000 Rotterdammers who for whatever reason do not have money for clothes, are helped with a new wardrobe every year. On the Clothes Day, the Clothing Bank brings beautiful items for sale. So come by and score something unique! The proceeds are used to buy underwear and socks for the 4000 people who come by every year.

Knitting workshop

In addition to the racks for vintage treasures, there is a knitting workshop in the morning. After all, it is very trendy to make your own scarf, sweater or glove. From 11:00 to 13:00 two workshop teachers are ready to teach you the art of knitting. Bring your own wool work, or be surprised by suggestions from the ladies.

It is always fun to go shopping with your children, but it is also very nice to browse by yourself. How convenient… Miss Miranda from SOL gives creative craft workshops for children all day long, which are of course about clothes.

Sewing teacher Tante Ann will be visiting between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Children aged 8 and up can pimp a bag with embroidery, stickers and other creative methods. Of course, the bag can be taken home afterwards.
