Small Choir Klaas Zeven Klazen sing worldly music. Beautiful songs, mostly a capella. Music from far and wide. From pop to traditional.
Klaas sings pieces from all over the world. You can think of anything: when it is fun it is tried out, and often edited according to his own insight and possibilities. These can be pop songs, evergreens, traditionals, world music... fill in the blanks.
Each of the seven singers has their own (major) contribution: the division of roles of soprano/alto/tenor/bass is fixed for a number of pieces, but this is often deviated from.
One of the first pieces that were rehearsed was the song “Klaas” by Laïs, to which the group owes its name.
