After ten years, Klaas van der Eerden is back in the theatre with Blijven drijven : an energetic comedy show with sketches, characters, music and perhaps even dance…

Klaas has been seen on TV in recent years, including in Foute Vrienden and CupCakeCup, and heard on the radio in the morning show of Radio 538. Every morning at 4:15 am he gets up and happily gets behind the microphone, Klaas can do that.

Where does this uncontrollable drive to constantly entertain and make everyone laugh come from? And wasn't this fate, due to a fatal accident in his family, actually determined from birth? In this theatre programme, Klaas tries to answer this question. One thing is crystal clear: he will always stay afloat.

About Klaas

Klaas van der Eerden is a comedian and presenter for television and radio. In 1999 he won both the jury and the audience award at the Amsterdam Cabaret Festival, after which he made no less than seven full-length cabaret programs during fifteen years, including Extreem!, Wortels and Breedbeeld.

In 2014 he decided to focus on his radio and television career. On television he became known as one of the Foute Vrienden and as the presenter of the CupCakeCup.

From 2018 to 2023 he was frequently heard as a sidekick on Radio 538. During the last 2 years of this period he presented De ochtendshow daily together with Wietze de Jager.
