Armed with nothing more than a microphone and inexhaustible energy, Karel knows how to enchant the audience and make the stages shine with his infectious synthpop performances. His undulating sound has a kind of gravity that draws people towards him. Although his songs are often minimalistic, they work on different levels and get the audience moving - whether it's dancing, listening or simply dreaming away to another dimension. After releasing his debut EP on Job Jobse's label De Vlieger and his second EP The Work via Magnetron, Karel quickly caught the attention of both the pop and dance scene across Europe. Last year he released his debut album, making it clear that he has no intention of slowing down. This fall, Karel returns with his long-awaited second album, Vendobionta. With this new release, he proves that he is more than a passing sensation and continues to expand his impressive and ever-evolving discography.
