As one of four local hosts, he will take the stage between 01:00 and 04:00 and bring his unique vibe to the dance floor. Expect a mix of African influences, funk, soul and Afrobeat that brings his drumming to life.

Junya, born Junior Emmanuel Koney, is a Ghanaian drummer who shaped his musical path from a young age. His musician mother not only taught him how to play the drums and guitar, but also introduced him to gospel and soul, which influences his music to this day. The rhythm and soul that permeates his music is a tribute to her.

His career started in 2018 when he decided to present himself worldwide. Since then he has played on stages all over the world, from South Korea and South Africa to his home country Ghana, and has collaborated with artists such as Rimon, Fullcrate, Akwasi, Yung Nnelg, BnnyHunna, Arp Frique and more. His dynamic performances have conquered audiences everywhere, including the iconic Lowlands festival.

Besides his work as a drummer, Junya is also active as a model for top brands such as Daily Paper, Filling Pieces and TheNewOriginals. He shares his passion for music with the youth in his area by giving masterclasses and helps his father in the church, where he keeps his mother's musical legacy alive.

With his own music in the works as an independent artist, Junya continues to push boundaries and forge his own unique path.
