Where he brings his atmospheric mix of soul, folk and electronica to life. With a career that spans from Ninja Tune releases to worldwide tours with Bonobo, Jono knows how to enchant time and time again.

Since his debut album Darkest Light in 2008 – funded by fans like folk icon Vashti Bunyan and radio DJ Tom Robinson – Jono McCleery has carved out a unique space in the music scene. With releases on Ninja Tune and collaborations with Maribou State, Portico and Maceo Plex, he moves effortlessly between styles and genres. His music has received support from big names like Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum and Phil Selway (Radiohead), and has been picked up by radio stations like FIP and KCRW. He has toured worldwide with Bonobo and Jamie Woon and has always continued to surprise.

After the pandemic, Jono went on a new journey of discovery. Now based in Rotterdam, he released the EP To Keep a Memory via the Berlin label 90 Days, followed by the albums Here I Am and There You Are and Moonlit Parade.

With over 38 million Spotify streams and tracks featured in shows like This Is Us and Queen Sugar, Jono proves his music can’t be pigeonholed. He continues to experiment, innovate and connect – always with a sound that moves and lingers.
