Jon Allen & The Luna Kings + Tamzene
For fans of: Jonathan Jeremiah, Curtis Harding, Paolo Nutini
Jon Allen’s weathered, whiskey-tinged voice has become his unmistakable trademark. His compelling blend of folk, Americana and soul often carries an irresistible groove, while also allowing for moments of melancholic reflection. Although Allen has a deep love of American music, he has developed a distinctly British sound over the years. His influences range from the blues-rock of Free and The Faces to the refined songwriting of icons such as Van Morrison and Elton John.
With six albums to his name and over 30 million streams on Spotify, Allen has received widespread acclaim. He tours regularly with his band, The Luna Kings, and is set to release his seventh album, Seven Dials, in May 2025. Inspired by the gritty underworld of 18th century London, Allen paints a vivid picture of the infamous Covent Garden. Taking the listener on a journey through the struggle, sin and survival that defined the area at the time, he offers a glimpse into a time of vice and decay.
Singer-songwriter Tamzene from Cromarty, Scotland, will be the support act. Tamzene started playing the violin at the age of eight and at fourteen she expanded her musical skills by picking up the guitar and working on her own material.
