Joe Armon-Jones brings his unique sound to BoogieBall, the afterparty of North Sea Jazz.
This London-based keyboardist, producer and composer is known for his genre-bending style, which effortlessly blends jazz, dub, hip-hop, funk and soul.
A driving force in London’s vibrant jazz scene, both solo and with the Mercury Prize-winning Ezra Collective, Joe has worked with icons such as Obongjayar, Tony Allen, Nubya Garcia, Greentea Peng and Mick Jenkins. His album Turn to Clear View was named one of TIME Magazine’s Top 10 Albums of 2019.
During BoogieBall he takes you on a musical trip full of improvisation, groove and next-level interplay. Expect an immersive jam session where anything can happen.
