Once upon a time… there was a piece of wood! Hmm, not exactly an exciting start to a story? But what if I told you that this piece of wood could talk? What if this piece of wood was made into a puppet that goes on an unimaginable adventure… Through the circus to the belly of a shark! Really. And what if this puppet, whose name is Pinocchio by the way, wants nothing more than to become a real boy?
Join Pinocchio on his adventure across Italy, in Geslepen Koek's idiosyncratic adaptation of the classic fairy tale from 1883. With absurdist characters, imaginative stories and full of humor. A performance about virtue and growing up for everyone from 6 years old.
