Belgian Jasper Steverlinck first rose to fame as the lead singer of the band Arid, with his crystal clear and powerful voice as the focal point. His mix of folk, Americana and pop music is like a Michelin-starred chef’s recipe for a gourmet. Jasper released his first solo album Songs of Innocence during Arid’s heyday. His cover of David Bowie’s Life on Mars unexpectedly became a huge hit in 2004. His second album Night Prayer followed in 2018 and his third album, titled The Healing, will be released in early 2025. This album refers to the healing power of music and the personal healing process Jasper went through while writing it. Jasper recently took part in the popular TV show Liefde voor Muziek, where he once again won many hearts with his beautiful voice.
