The Italian Io sono l'amore (2009) is one of the earlier films by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers). The story follows Emma (Tilda Swinton), a Russian woman living in Milan with her husband, a wealthy industrialist family. While her husband is busy with the family business, Emma develops an intense and forbidden romantic relationship with one of her children's friends, the young chef Antonio. This relationship changes her life and confronts her with her own desires and the complex dynamics within her family.
