International Conducting Competition Rotterdam
During the final of the International Conducting Competition, the eight best young conductors, selected from 175 applications and 54 countries, come to the port city.
The Finals of the International Conducting Competition are a highlight in which six promising conductors get the chance to shine with beautiful classical music, performed by renowned orchestras. With a mix of sounds and styles, this promises to be a special experience for lovers of classical music.
The final consists of five rounds, each with a unique theme, from classical and contemporary repertoire to opera and major symphonic works. This makes for a multifaceted musical journey in which the talents of the conductors are fully expressed.
