Inside Out

Growing up is not without its ups and downs, and that goes for Riley too. When her father gets a new job in San Francisco, she has to leave her life in the Midwest behind. Riley, like everyone else, is guided by her emotions: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.

The emotions live in Headquarters, the control room inside Riley's mind, where they advise her on everyday matters. Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to their new life in San Francisco, causing turmoil in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions argue over how to best navigate a new city, house, and school.
