IKEI-Concerten in de Doelen - Schoolkinderen op het podium
This year too, the large stage of the Doelen will be for 3 days for pupils of groups 6, together with musicians from the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. And the great thing is: you can be there!
The final concerts of the programme Every Child, An Instrument (IKEI) form the festive conclusion of 6 years of music lessons in primary school.
The IKEI concert in the Doelen is an impressive event for the pupils from group 6. They play in a large orchestra consisting of 4 or 5 school classes, SKVR music teachers and professional musicians from the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the direction of Chiel Busscher. Together with the children, he makes it a musical adventure.
For an enthusiastic audience
Parents, family and other interested parties are welcome to attend the concerts in the Doelen free of charge.
Buying a ticket is not necessary. You can just walk in.
