Hotel Jugoslavija

Hotel Jugoslávia tells the story of the famous building that, after its completion in 1969, was the largest and most luxurious hotel in the country.

Many international celebrities and heads of state stayed there, President Tito saw the hotel as an important location to receive guests. From the 1990s onwards, the building fell into disrepair, with an uncertain future ahead. The Yugoslavian-born film director Nicolas Wagnières shows the rise and fall of the hotel with fascinating archive footage.
